a friend and i saw elton john a few weeks ago in bakersfield. on the way back home the day after the show, we saw these hills on the side of the road. her mom offered to stop so we could venture through the hills, and we took pictures until my camera ran out of battery.

anyway, we had been laughing at the fact that ~sir elton john~ was playing in a place like bakersfield. but then we saw this beautiful meadow after only twenty minutes of driving home, and we kind of stopped making fun of bakersfield
